TRUE REPENTANCE (LUKE 3:7-14)

The consciousness of the nature of sin is a sign of humility before God (1 John 1:8)

√ Repentance is not confirmed when I confess but the fruit of my actions (John 15:1-2) (Matt 15:8)

√ Depending on the faith of your fathers is no guarantee of your stability in God

√ Any christian who neglects fruit runs the risk of being cut down. Men are like trees (Is 61:3) (Luke 13:6-9)

√ The greatest question in true repentance is ‘what shall I do to be saved?’ (Acts 16:29-31) (Acts 2:37-41) (Acts 8:36) (John 3:3-4)

√ A repentant heart identifies genuine needs (Luke 3:10-11)

√ A repentant heart values restitution (Luke 19:8)

√ A repentant heart does not over benefit through corrupt deals

√ A repentant heart forbids violence, false hood & is content (1 Tim 6:6)

√ The Holy Spirit walks with a repentant heart (Is 57:15) (Is 66:2) (Luke 18:12-13)

√ Those who serve are not necessarily custodians of the secrets of God; only those who fear Him (Ps 25:14)
